![]() Dr. Ajit Kumar Roy was born in the year 1934 in the Faridpur District of the then Bengal Province of British India. After doing his Matriculation from the village school. Dr. Roy came to Kolkata and studied in Commerce faculty in the evening classes while serving during the day. After serving six small institutions, Dr. Roy joined Reserve Bank of India on September 1, 1954 as a Commerce Graduate. In Reserve Bank of India, Dr. Roy worked in various capacities and continued his studies in Commerce and ultimately obtained a Ph.D. degree in Commerce (Income-tax) and got a prize from Reserve Bank of India as a recognition of his academic excellence while in service. After serving Reserve Bank of India in various capacities, Dr. Roy shifted his loyalty to National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) from the very first day of its establishment in the year 1983. As a NABARD Officer, Dr. Roy had worked as the Faculty Member of NABARD Training College at Bolpur and then as its Principal. After serving NABARD in various capacities, Dr. Roy finally retired on January 31, 1992 as Deputy General Manager. Dr. Roy was the Board Member of Bhojpur Rohtas Grameen Bank, Arrah, Bihar and Citizens’ Urban Cooperative Bank, Gangtok, Sikkim. Dr. Roy is a Member of the Management Committee of Netaji Subhas Regional Institute of Cooperative Management, Government of India, Kalyani and closely associated with the Cooperative Service Commission, Government of West Bengal, Kolkata. Dr. A K Roy was instrumental in initiating the first post-graduate course in Rural Finance in Kalyani University. Dr. Roy is a permanent guest faculty member of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Development Institute, Government of India and State Agricultural Management & Extension Training Institute, Government of India. |

Mr. Natarajan Raman, Executive Director of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) at Head Office, Lucknow is a Mechanical Engineer by training and also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers, besides a Diploma in Development Banking awarded by Indian Institute of Bankers. He has over 32 years of experience in industry and development banking of which 26 years have been with two apex level financial institutions of India viz., Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). Prior to his present position, he headed the Western Zonal Office of SIDBI at Mumbai, responsible for business operations of the Bank in the States of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Goa. Earlier, he has held various responsibilities in the Head Office including promotional & developmental activities for MSMEs, inter-institutional financing, recovery from bad loans and direct credit to MSMEs. He has also headed the Hyderabad and Dimapur Branch offices of the Bank. He has been nominated on the Boards of State Financial Corporations and Venture Capital Companies, besides assisted industrial units. |

Mr.Rajendra Kumar Ghosh, born on 1st March, 1943, completed M.A. in Political Science & Bachelor of Law. He was nominated by Government of India for the prestigious ‘Government Legal Advisors Course’ at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies at London U.K. under London University. Mr. Ghosh has a long and distinguished career serving the judiciary in various capacities. Mr. Ghosh enrolled as an Advocate on 10th March, 1970 and thereafter practiced as an Advocate at High Court & District Court for 5 years after which he joined Tripura Judicial Service on 23.02.1976 as Munsiff-cum-Judicial Magistrate, 1st class and later as a Sub-Judge-cum-Asst. Sessions Judge. He was later promoted as Grade –I officer of Tripura Judicial Service where he retired in 2003. Mr. Ghosh has worked in various capacities in the Judiciary such as District & Sessions Judge, Member Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, L.A. Judge, President District Consumers Redressal Forum, Chairman Tripura State Human Rights Committee, Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal. Mr. Ghosh has also worked as Secretary, Law & Parliamentary Affairs Dept. under Government of Tripura on deputation. |
